MMMMMM

So over the past few months I've been working on a big level over in Little Big Planet 2. It's called MMMMMM and mimics the controls and difficulty of the game VVVVVV. It is by far my best level yet and I encourage you all to check it out.

Its got decent ratings, but is very hard and very long and few have been strong and brave enough to finish it. It's a pretty deep, complex beast my level. so I figured I'd make a map, like all good 2d games. So here it is. the fruits of my labor: the entire game map.

Also still alive, plodding through language barriers.

I too am still alive. I haven't spent much time honing my creative talents, unfortunately. I have been spending most of my free time studying like mad, trying to improve my Japanese. I feel as though after living here for as long as I have, my level is no where near where it should be and I must catch up and fast! I am improving slowly, but it's a constant effort. I'm currently in the process of making vocab cards for everything I can't remember (which is a lot).
Other than that, the usual; work, party on occasion, wander around...
Same old, same old.

Still Alive, Creating in Little Big Planet

So I haven't really been drawing much lately. But I have definately still been creative. I just finished about 100 hours of level creation making a level in Little Big Planet 2. LBP is a great game and tool for unleashing creativity. I made a level about an alien planet being attacked by another firey alien race, and you the hero have to help them get it back.
This was a lot of experimentation with the new LBP tools. but I tried to make it fairly interesting, by constantly throwing new tools and combinations of tools that I think players might not have seen before. In the past I've had a problem with making levels too hard. hopefully this time around it's a little better.
Please check it out. LBP is a great game. here's my level link so you can see how it's doing and add it to your LBP queue:
